This was the best experience. I had a jewelry expert contact me after I left an after hours message at Effy. Zoey answered all my questions and helped me get the ring that was perfect for me. I bought a full eternity band from what I believed was a reputable company (very well known name). Even though I was careful with it, diamonds started falling out after a month. The Effy rep said they stand behind their pieces. If the ring should lose a stone, Effy will replace it since I purchased it from them. This ring set is beyond beautiful. My original wedding set is a very simple rose gold band with a matching small solitaire morganite ring. My husband bought me this one for our upcoming 5 year wedding anniversary. We bought it straight off the website photos without asking for any extra photos or details. I’m not supposed to wear it yet but I try it on sometimes. I am just amazed. The little diamonds sparkle like nobody’s business. The morganite hue is saturated and ranges from champagne to blush depending on the lighting. The proportions of everything are just perfect. The emerald cut is the star of the show, I have to watch out not to be blinded! It’s so beautiful but somehow can still be considered understated and elegant. Great job Effy designing this. Of everything we’d seen, this is the most beautiful design I could imagine. If I had to be super nitpicky there are some extremely minor details I should point out. First, the bands are very thin, it was hard to tell this from the photos (would be great if effy provided a photo of the ring on a hand on their website). So it works really well as a set, but not so much separately unless you’re into super thin bands. Second, the halo isn’t 100% perfectly symmetrical at the corners due to the tiny diamonds not being all exactly the same size. This is not something you would know unless you sit and stare at the ring. Also, it’s my first halo ring so I’m not sure what level of perfection is the norm. And finally, I thought the morganite looked much pinker in the photos than in real life (as I said it’s more of a peachy hue). Honestly I like the hue I got better but I could see this being an issue for someone else. Effy could write a description of the morganite on their photo maybe. Something like “morganite is a medium peach colour”. Finally the sizing felt a bit larger than other rings I own. These little things are such minor details though. I am a professor so I’d still give this an A+. :)Thank you Effy for making something so special and beyond my expectations. I would have thought a ring of this beauty could only be afforded by celebrities. I’m so happy to (almost) own something so special.
