I am a return customer of the Effy brand. I have a set (ring, earrings, necklace and bracelet) of sapphires, a set (ring, earrings and necklace) of rubies and a ring and earring set of emeralds. I would call Effy a very good jeweler of mid-priced jewelry. When I say mid-priced, I do not mean cheap, but affordable (meaning an average person with a job) can save up for something. The colored stones are not as translucent as high-end jewelry, but that’s the compromise. The clear, exceptional-colored stones are exponentially more expensive as in unaffordable for the average person. Effy’s talent is the beautiful designs of its mid-priced jewelry. The retailer does stand behind its jewelry and will replace smaller stones or repair dents in the metal. Customers must remember that silver is softer than gold and wear the jewelry accordingly.I find the staff at Effy good business people who provide decent customer service and fairness to their customers. The jewelers do sell more expensive jewelry also, but the bulk of their sales are mid-priced for us regular folks — and I personally appreciate how pretty my jewelry is, i.e. the lovely design of real gemstones. So I give the jewelry 5 stars for value and lovely design — but I’m not going to lie, I pin for those big, high-end quality gemstones! 🙂
